INSTAGRAM IN PORTUGAL: FIND OUT ABOUT THE ADHERENCE OF THIS AND OTHER SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE COUNTRY
According to the report mentioned in the previous topic, Portugal will have a population of approximately 10,2 million citizens in 2024. Of these, 8,84 million use the internet, which is equivalent to 86,4% of the population.
Among internet users, 7,43 million also use social networks. We are therefore talking about 72,6% of Portuguese citizens. In this context, Instagram in Portugal is among the most used social networks, see the table:

Also according to the Data Reportal report, the potential reach of Instagram ads in Portugal grew by 500 thousand, which is equivalent to an increase of 9,4% between January 2023 and January 2024.
Finally, as can be seen, the Portuguese population's adherence to Instagram is 56,7%. In other words, there is an audience of almost 6 million people that you can reach with targeted paid traffic.
