ACEPI is the acronym for the Electronic Commerce and Interactive Advertising Association, an institution that aims to accelerate the digital transformation of companies in Portugal. In addition, it aims to facilitate communication between these companies and partner and collaborating organizations.
Operating since 2000, ACEPI has been developing several knowledge programs for digital commerce since then. In this way, it connects traders with the technological, economic, cultural, social, political and legal innovations in the sector.

ACEPI'S MAIN GUIDELINES
To accelerate digital transformation and e-commerce in Portugal, ACEPI works on issues such as:
- Creation of studies and analyses to increase knowledge about digital commerce;
- Promotion of congresses, seminars and other events to publicize and debate the sector;
- Development and implementation of training to prepare traders and employees;
- Representation and defense of members in federations, associations and other institutions in Portugal;
- Encouraging Portugal's participation in the international community interested in e-commerce;
- Bringing e-commerce professionals closer to the academic sphere;
- Promotion and provision of services compatible with the nature of ACEPI;
- Clarification of doubts about the relationship between e-commerce and public policies;
- Promotion of information on business strategies;
- Promotion of information on consumer behavior and rights.
In this context, ACEPI has been carrying out projects over the years such as the Digital Commerce Program , the Confio Seal , the Digital Economy Talks Club, and Thematic Workshops, for example. In short, ACEPI is an association that builds knowledge and creates connections.
How to join?
Visit the Members page and register. ACEPI membership costs (in 2024) from €20 (for students) to €1.200 (for multinational companies with more than 250 employees). Benefits include access to the Confiio Seal, seminars and conferences, among other things.
