Since the third week of October 2017, the Rakuten Pay payment solution from Rakuten Digital Commerce has been available for use by Brazilian virtual retailers on different e-commerce platforms.

In this way, this payment system, which has been in use in Brazil since 2015 by users of the Rakuten platform, is now free for use by virtual stores that operate via platforms of other brands.

RAKUTEN PAY AND ITS FUNCTIONS

One advantage of this payment system is that it has undergone extensive testing by major national and international online retailers. Therefore, Rakuten Pay is a ready-to-use tool. Just to give you an idea and to see some of the stores served by the company, check out the article " 10 global brands that use the Rakuten e-commerce platform ".

Therefore, at this moment when Rakuten Pay is released for use on e-commerce platforms other than its creators ' own , it already has multiple well-developed functionalities, check them out:

  • Support for bills (including registered tickets)
  • card support
  • Installments in up to 12 times
  • Security systems and fraud protection

Another advantage of using Rakuten Pay is that its interface does not display the Rakuten brand at the time of checkout performed by your consumer, which avoids loss of attention and focus on the purchase, emphasizes the layout of your virtual store and, thus, offers greater possibility of closing sales.

CONCLUSION

As can be seen, the Rakuten platform has established itself as one of the best on the market. In 2017, the company won the award for best national e-commerce platform for the second consecutive time , given by the Centro de Inteligência Padrão (CIP).

  • important update: Rakuten's e-commerce facilities in Brazil were acquired by Ten Oaks Group in late 2019. Therefore, the Japanese company's technologies are now being called Gencomm in the national territory. Click in "Gencomm” to get to know the new brand!
