Differences and similarities between squeeze pages and capture forms
Squeeze pages and capture forms are two essential resources for building an e-commerce sales-qualified email list

Squeeze pages and lead capture forms are two fundamental resources for building a high-quality contact database for the purpose of conducting email marketing campaigns for e-commerce.

Basically, they work like this: consumers have access to these resources while browsing the internet looking for a specific product or service. Many of these consumers want to receive more information about the items they are looking for and, for that, they enter their emails in a squeeze page or capture form, which, in turn, automatically subscribes these people to an Email Marketing list. With this, these consumers will receive the information they need periodically in their emails.

As you can see, through these two tools, the virtual store administrator will be able to create a list with emails of people who are really interested in the products and services that you are trying to sell, which is different from acquiring a ready-made list with people who are not are looking for what you have to offer.

But before talking about the differences, I'll point out some similarities between squeeze pages and capture forms. Both features:

• They have a field for consumers to put their e-mail

• May have fields for the consumer to enter telephone, city and other data

• They may or may not offer a digital incentive in exchange for the consumer's email.

• They require confirmation of entry into the email list via an opt-in system.

Now, let's know the differences between the two tools, check it out:

• As the name says, squeeze page includes a complete page

• Capture form is a module inside any page

• A squeeze page is a page designed to capture

• A form can be placed at the top, footer or column of any page

• A squeeze page has more space for persuasive arguments.

• A form often lacks space for persuasive arguments

One of the most interesting things about squeeze pages and capture forms is that they serve not only to get a list of qualified emails, but also to research consumers, since you e-commerce administrator can enter fields like “age ”, “profession”, “place of origin”, “company”, etc. and, thus, know more important details about your consumers.

Develop and use good squeeze pages and capture forms to obtain a qualified list for your e-commerce Email Marketing campaigns. In e-commerce, a good email list is a gold mine!
