FASHION SECTOR: HOW TO SELL MORE ON DESKTOP AND MOBILE
As can be seen in the Social Miner report, the online fashion sector sells more products through desktop computers than via smartphones.

What, then, to improve sales on both types of devices?
Well, the first step is to have a responsive virtual store.
That is, it is necessary to have a website that shapes and adapts to different sizes and formats of screens.
Thus, it is possible to provide a good shopping experience on multiple supports.
In addition, on smartphones, it is essential to pay attention to the arrangement of the “Buy” buttons.
These need to be within reach of the so-called " Thumb Zone ".
Furthermore, it is important to remember that most Brazilian online stores receive from 100 to 10.000 unique monthly visitors.
Of these, only 1% buys.
Therefore, stores like these make between 1 and 100 sales per month.
If we take into account the Average Ticket mentioned above, we will see that a store like this can earn approximately between R$ 293,00 (1 sale) to up to R$ 29.300,00 (100 sales) every 30 days.
This represents an annual turnover of BRL 3.500,00 to up to BRL 351.600,00.
Either way, it's clear that the more unique visitors a store has, the more sales happen.
And there's only one way to get unique visitors, which is through marketing, and especially through digital marketing.
Finally, if you are already in or plan to enter the fashion industry, invest in a top-of-the-line e-commerce platform like VTEX.
This will undoubtedly allow you to create a responsive, scalable and high-performance online store.
