Clarity will arrive on the market in mid-October, coinciding with the release of the 4th edition of Google Analytics , which we've already published here on the e-Plus agency blog.

In this article, finally, I will present the general lines of Microsoft Clarity. So, find out what its main features are. Know your data dashboards. Find out how important it is to e-commerce. Keep reading!
MICROSOFT CLARITY: RESOURCES
Microsoft Clarity has been in beta since 2018, but has now finally been released for general use. And best of all, it's free. To access it, just sign in with your email, Microsoft, Google or Facebook account. You choose. That simple!
As with Analytics, to start using Clarity you need to install a tracking code in the element from your website or app. In addition, you can also integrate Analytics with Clarity and thereby gain an even deeper insight into your e-commerce.
Once logged into Clarity, and with the tracking code installed on your website, you will have access to four dashboards, they are:
Dashboard (Control Panel):

In this dashboard you can see a summary of metrics. This way you can get a general understanding of what visitors are doing on your site over time. You can see, for example, how many people clicked on links or scrolled through pages. You can also observe javascript errors, browsing time and so on.
Recordings:

The “Recording” panel is where you can check recordings of visiting sessions on your site. That is, it is the place where it is possible to see what each user does while browsing a virtual store, for example. You can see the movement of the mouse cursor and, in addition, the way users scroll through the pages. This allows you to better understand the behavior of visitors.
Heatmaps:

Heatmaps are visual graphs that show where and how users interact with a web page. The dashboard provides two types of visualizations. The first is a click map and the second is a page scroll graph. This feature is very useful, for example, to check which buttons consumers and customers click on most in your online store.
Settings:

The “Settings” panel is the place for creating the project. Include your site name, URL and category. Then copy the tracking code and insert it into the element of your website as described. This is also where you can integrate Google Analytics with the Microsoft Clarity tool, just follow the instructions.
SCALABILITY
According to information from Microsoft, Clarity supports websites of all sizes, including the largest. The tool processes more than 1 pentabyte of data per month from more than 100 million users.
MICROSOFT CLARITY, GDPR AND LGPD
Microsoft Clarity complies with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), legislation on which Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) is based, according to a note published in the platform's frequently asked questions.
