Done deal. Linx buys Humanus for R$19 million. To complete the acquisition, R$ 13,6 million will be paid in fixed installments. Subsequently, between 2021 and 2023, a further R$ 2,4 million will be paid, subject to the achievement of goals. A further R$ 3 million will also be paid, subject to the absence of contingencies.

If you read the e-Plus blog every day, then you already know that Linx is a Brazilian retail software company. It was founded in 1985 by Nércio Fernandes. Today it is headquartered in the city of São Paulo. In addition, it maintains branches in several cities around the world, meaning we are talking about a multinational company.

I take this opportunity to mention that Linx has an e-commerce platform for which the e-Plus agency team is certified. In fact, e-Plus has created several online stores, such as those for Inovathi and Prescrita Medicamentos , for example, using the Linx platform.

Humanus (also known as CR Sistemas Ltda) , in turn, was founded in 1998. It is a company that sells and rents payroll and HCM management services and software. It offers cloud-based solutions. It has 1,3 clients in Brazil. Its estimated revenue for 2020 is R$ 10,4 million.

With the acquisition, Linx aims to:

  • Accelerate the entry of Linx's Digital Account;
  • Accelerate future credit offers.

Meanwhile, TOTVS and Stone try to buy Linx. Read more about it then!

LINX BUYS HUMANUS WHILE TOTVS AND STONE TRY TO BUY LINX

While Linx buys Humanus, the software company TOTVS and the payment fintech Stone, both Brazilian, are fighting an “arm wrestling” for the purchase of Linx, which in turn has 179 million shares.

TOTVS wants to pay R$33,81 for each Linx share (82% in shares issued by it), which corresponds to the amount of R$6,05 billion. On the other hand, Stone offers BRL 35,10 per share (90% in cash), which totals BRL 6,28 billion.

We at the e-Plus agency will keep an eye on this “novel”. If you want to follow along too, then activate the green bell in the corner of this page to receive our news alerts. Read the e-Plus blog and stay on top of e-commerce and omnichannel!

As soon as you can, also click on “ Linx OMS ” and learn about an order management system that unifies the inventory of physical and virtual stores, thus enabling consumers to have an omnichannel experience.
