The consultancy Ebit and the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm) point out that Brazilian e-commerce revenues on Father's Day in 2017 should be much higher than in 2016.

According to ABComm's projection, the earnings of national virtual stores will reach the mark of R$ 2,07 billion, which represents an increase of 18% in relation to the previous year's revenue, which was R$ 1,76 billion (Ebit) .

Ebit, on the other hand, presents more modest numbers, however, still with a very large volume of earnings. According to this consultancy, the turnover of Father's Day 2017 will be R$ 1,94 billion, which represents a growth of 10% compared to 2016.

Check out more data from Ebit and ABComm below and make your comparisons:

• Ebit's Projection for Father's Day 2017:
– 4,5 million orders
– Average Ticket of BRL 438,00

• ABComm Projection for Father's Day 2017:
– 6 million orders
– Average Ticket of BRL 346,00

A good strategy for your e-commerce business is to run some promotions on that date. Read the article " Flash sales can improve your online store's sales " to learn more about it.

Furthermore, there's nothing better than having a scalable e-commerce platform for e-commerce events like Father's Day, as this type of platform allows your online store to successfully handle (without crashes or other problems) the increase in visitors and customers.
