One of the largest premium fashion companies in Brazil, Icomm Group, is launching the 2020Collab marketplace this April 2. The new e-commerce site aims to bridge the gap between independent brands and new consumers in the sector.
For those unfamiliar, Icomm Group was formed in 2008 from the merger of the brands Shop2gether and OQVestir. The latter operates in e-commerce through an online store developed by the agency e-Plus (click on “ OQVestir ” to access).

WHAT IS 2COLLAB MARKETPLACE LIKE?
2Collab is a marketplace that serves the fashion trade of independent designers and brands. In other words, it is aimed at small and medium-sized brands. In the environment of this site, sellers will be able to count on:
- Personalized and integrated store with means of payment;
- Integrated registration with an Icomm customer base;
- Icomm's know-how in fashion e-commerce;
- Access to digital actions and/or presences of HUB-2Collab together with other sellers;
- Icomm Group Hearing;
- Access to the 2Collab photo guide.
There is no fixed cost to use the platform. However, sellers must pay a commission per sale to the marketplace owners. Initially, 30 brands will be selected for the project. The admission requirements are:
- Offer authentic and new products, with descriptions and images according to the 2Collab guide;
- Minimum quantity of products required by Icomm;
- CNPJ and Invoice;
- Packaging and carriers approved by Icomm;
- Payment of sales fees and commissions, in accordance with the contract.

MARKETPLACE OBJECTIVES
According to its creators, the 2Collab marketplace has the following purposes:
- Foster national fashion, especially that developed by small and medium-sized companies;
- Create an ecosystem of independent fashion brands;
- Promote brands and stylists aligned with values such as originality, creativity, sustainability and usability.
As can be seen, one of the key points of this marketplace is to provide space for emerging brands in the fashion market.
HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN MARKETPLACE?
To set up a marketplace, it's essential to create a Business Plan before anything else. This document will help you determine whether or not undertaking such a project is viable.
