Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the current version of the famous analytics software, which has been in operation since 2020. It replaces the previous version called Universal Analytics, which still works, but will stop processing data from October 2023.

With a focus on e-commerce, Google Analytics 4 offers greater accuracy in measuring business data on the web. It has features that allow you to track the consumer's journey in a better way. Find out more then!

GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4 FEATURES

Instead of separate analytics like the Universal Analytics version, GA4 has an integrated analytics. Thus, with this new version of the analytical software, it is possible to understand the interactions of users on websites and in apps together.

For example, you can now see conversions from YouTube video views along with conversions from paid Google channels, social media, email and organic channels, etc. You can also see which channel consumers discover your business on first and where they go next. This way you can understand the combined impact of these interactions on the consumer journey and optimize your marketing efforts.

Google Analytics 4 also features machine learning that reveals data trends and generates useful insights. In effect, it can alert you to products with increasing demand due to evolving customer needs. Or, it can help you anticipate future customer actions based on predictive metrics like churn and potential revenue. This is ideal for helping you optimize your conversion rate (CRO).
